I read 10 books in August. My favorite of the books I read in August was a book called Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson. This book is about a girl named Claudia. She and her best friend always, Monday, write letters to each other over the summer when Claudia goes down south to her Grandparents house. One summer, Monday doesn’t write back. When they go back to school, no one has seen Monday, and no one can tell Claudia where Monday is. The book is about Claudia trying to find Monday.

.

I thought this book was really really interesting. It was just the right length; it wasn’t too long or too short. I also really liked the main character. She was very interesting to read about. This book was very sad, but I think it made the book that much more interesting. There were also some parts where the book would go back in time to when Monday wasn’t missing, and I think this was good as well because you got to really care for Monday. This book was a very enjoyable read!
